Thanksgiving Play!

For thanksgiving Mathew's class performed Arthur's thanksgiving. Mathew does not enjoy "performing" in front of his parents. As you can see he isn't real excited about this. I couldn't get a picture of him saying his lines because I was sitting down with my back turned. He didn't want me watching him. This was the best photo I could get.

Cruel and Unusual Punishment!

Trista's blankie was in the dryer!! I washed it, unfortunately she saw me put it in the dryer and she wanted it. She cried and cried! As you can see she waited for it to finish! Poor Girl!

Bike Rides!

Trevor LOVES to ride his bike! He spends hours riding up and down our street!

Play Date Divas!

We had our friends Jim, Debbie, and Abby over. Trista and Abby are the same age and love to play together. The both got their purses and were carrying them around. They were so cute!!

Boot Crazy!

Trista loves boots. Any boot, any size! She gets very "angry" if we take them from her!

Kyle cooked us dinner one night last week. He did a wonderful job! He is getting so big!!!

My Little Helper

I was cleaning the floor and Trista really wanted to help. I gave her a bucket (with water) and her own rag. She did such a good job. And she had so much fun! She loves to help mommy! Trista especially likes to do the laundry. She is so fun!

Mathew's 7th Birthday

Mathew chose to have his birthday party at the skate park in Allen. We had a blast! Everyone rode their bikes on the bmx course, some rode bikes on the street course, some rode scooters, and even some skateboarded! Uncle Chris even rode the skateboard!

Canada, Eh!

Our first night in Canada we went to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Johnny Bauer was there to speak to us and for pictures. He played goalie for 40 years before they wore masks. His hands were huge! They said that was from the arthritis. It was a really neat place. Afterwards we went to the CN Tower, we weren't able to get any good pictures because it was dark. We weren't allowed on the observation deck because it was too windy. But we sat in the restaurant and had a drink, I had coffee and dessert! Yum-O

The next day we went to the winery. This was the first time either one of us has been to a winery. We had a wonderful lunch, then we went on a tour, and sampled wine. After that we went to Niagera Falls.







then to Oh Canada Eh (a dinner theatre). The rest of the weekend we spent touring toronto at our own leisure. We spent some time at Wayne Gretzky's Restaurant watching the game and eating lunch. A couple of wives and myself went to a few shops and stopped for coffee, then back to our hotel for dinner. We need the company trip a few times a year!!

So here is my receipt from today! As you can see it is almost as long as Trevor. The receipts are kind of blurry but it shows my totals. I had a few free items that they forgot to give me the credit so I had to go to the customer service to get my $$. I get most of my coupons from the Sunday paper. I have also gotten some from Smartsource.com, coupons.com, and shortcuts.com. Also, make sure your store has an updated address for their "shoppers" card. Kroger sends me lots of coupons.

I went to Kroger today! I love to grocery shop! I shopped for our family of 6 for the whole week, for $91.80 I saved $110.80! That was $202.60 worth of groceries for $90!! That makes me happy! My goal is to spend $150/week on groceries. I figured it out the other day, all my receipts from the beginning of August, average out for 13 weeks to be $153/week! I am doing good so far.
